The Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Housing Operations Team! As Estates Manager you would be providing a comprehensive customer focused neighborhood housing service ensuring properties and estates are professionally managed and maintained resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction with the Housing Services. You would be representing Northumberland County Council the community, liaising with residents, strategic partners, Elected Members and other agencies managing the Councils portfolio of 8,500 properties.

The role
The Estates Manger is responsible for managing the efficient and effective day to day tenancy and estate management of the Councils 8,500 homes across Northumberland this includes managing low level Anti-Social Behavior’s, Sheltered Housing, all aspects of tenancy management and estate and contract management. Ensuring the service reflects current legislation, standards, County Council and Government priorities. We are looking for a person with a strong track record of managing high performance and high-quality housing management services producing excellent outcomes for customers. We are looking for someone who can be an inspirational leader, with enthusiasm and passion to both drive our services forward and improve the lives of those customers living in our homes. You will foster team spirit encouraging accountability and putting the customer first to ensure a positive and responsive customer experience.

We are offering:
• A starting salary of £43,570 – £47,665 (Band 10)
• 25 days annual leave plus public and bank holidays (rising to 30 after 5 years of service) (pro-rata for part-time employees).
