Office Angels have partnered with a fantastic business based in High Bradfield, Sheffield who are looking for an Accountant to join their finance team working across their group of companies.
Role: Accountant
Salary: £42,000pa + 28 days holiday, a rural location with your own office, free parking, team socials & more!
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm
Location: High Bradfield, Sheffield – free parking on site | Due to location a car would be required
Contract: Permanent
Duties:
- Preparation of management accounts for banking purposes
- Overseeing quarterly VAT returns
- Weekly and monthly payroll including pension scheme administration
- Preparation and submission of annual management accounts
- Project work such as process improvements and systems improvements
- VAT returns
- Construction Industry Scheme monthly returns
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
What you will need to succeed:
- Be an experienced qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CGMA or equivalent)
- Proven track record of managing the accounts ideally working for an SME
- Knowledge and experience of Construction Industry Scheme returns would be an advantage but not essential
- A good working knowledge of Sage50
