HVAC Technician – Berkshire
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus company van and Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am – 4.30 pm
Location: Slough and around the South (Mobile position with some overnight stays)

What will you be doing?
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment.
- Complete site documentation before and after work tasks.
- Liaise with sub-contractors during planned service maintenance.
- Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task List steps and ensure these are always kept valid.
- Update maintenance task list.
- Carry out periodic reviews of EWI/SOP to ensure documents are always current and valid.
- Flexibility to work on equipment in all buildings and to work around Maintenance Shutdown.
- Be familiar, following training, with all GMP rules and regulations and statutory requirements.
- Participate in audits of the Air Conditioning plant and follow up on actions.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
- Drive local reviews of maintenance performance data using published maintenance excellence KPI results.
- PM program content is to be reviewed on a regular basis to remove non-value added activities’ and duplication.
- Ensure that the CMMS system contains the most up to date information regarding equipment data, spares and maintenance man-hours.
- Maximize maintenance wrench time utilization through effective planning.
What are we looking for?
- Recognized trade qualification, City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (BS7189) or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role and good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems.
- Work within a documented Permit to Work System.
- Understanding of basic Instrumentation.
- Must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience with detailed knowledge/skill in troubleshooting/repair of electrical systems, related mechanical experience a distinct advantage.
- Full clean driving license.
