The Product Assurance Engineer role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Quality professional to join the Tactical Strike Product Assurance team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide quality assurance support to the Brimstone project team to ensure adherence to our Customer requirements. If you wish to take on a fresh challenge, then come join our team as we complete our design validation and begin the journey into series production.
- Ensure effective management of non-conformances across the Project including supporting the engineering and manufacturing teams with route cause analysis.
- Certify and release product to our customer in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Provide an independent quality assurance view of project compliance to the Business Management Processes and Customer contractual requirements.
- Identify and share opportunities for business improvement leading to improved Customer Satisfaction.
Product Assurance Engineer experience required:
- Preferably HND educated, or experience in Engineering and Quality Management
- Practitioner of current QA problem solving methods (8D, Six Sigma, DMAIC, etc.)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of the Quality Tools and an understanding of non-conformance management using SAP would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and able to influence others in a collaborative way.
- Highly self-motivated and demonstrate a determination and persistence to deliver results despite obstacles and setbacks.
- Identify Quality issues/risks relating to potential risk to project milestone delivery.
- Participate in the Project Quality network to report and share the quality assurance status.
- Support the project team in developing any local processes and delivery of training.
- Participate in Learning Reviews.
