We are looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Cygnet Healthcare. This is an exciting and diverse role within the Commercial Finance team to work directly with operations, providing financial insight and helping to drive optimal business decisions.
As Senior Commercial Finance Analyst you will partner with key stakeholders in various parts of the organisation, but in particular supporting at a service, regional and departmental level, with the aim of improving service performance. Additionally, you will be integral to the budget setting process; engaging with the operations team to set stretching but realistic targets and supporting management in achieving them. This role would be ideal for an ambitious individual, who is seeking to progress and develop their career in finance within the Health & Social Care sector & as a partner of the NHS.
Responsibilities include…
- Interpret financial results and provide insight to key stakeholders.
- Monitor and challenge weekly KPIs to help the business meet its objectives; track actions and see through to completion.
- Review site-level profitability with a particular focus on staff costs to support the CFM in challenging overspends.
- Support and help manage the budget setting process.
- Assist with tender submissions, fee analysis and cost breakdowns.
- Develop strong, professional relationships with all levels of the business to support managers in taking ownership of their financial performance.
- Be comfortable deputising for the Commercial Finance Manager when required.
- Supervision of members within the team.
- Ad hoc projects and analysis.
