Applications are invited for a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthesia based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. This is an opportunity to join an enthusiastic and dynamic department with a wide range of specialties on offer. The post is available immediately.
You should have passed the FRCA examination (or equivalent) and hold a certificate of completion of training (or equivalent). The post is general in nature, but efforts will be made to include an area of interest to the successful applicant. Out of hours duties will include a combination of sessions supporting the Obstetric service, Orthopaedic Trauma and General Emergency theatres.
The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh has a large anaesthetic department that has close links with the University of Edinburgh Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine.
