Data Analyst – London, South East England
Insurance-focused Data Analyst (Python, SQL, Power BI, Excel) sought a well-known London Financial specializing in Risk. Established for over 100 years now, with 350 locations, and over 10,000 employees worldwide. We are recruiting for this role as part of a large ongoing project to bring onshore an offshore IT team. As a Data Analyst in the binding authority division, your role will be highly autonomous with responsibilities that are wide and varied including things like working closely with clients to analyze & actively drive performance to build; data models and dashboards, data analysis for new projects, data validation & cleansing, manage written premiums, paid premiums and claim stats as well as owning the production of earned to incurred triangulation figures for all clients and insurers.
Given the acquisitions of other organisations into the group you will be also in time be introduced to other parts of the group as part of a larger data community so this is pivotal role offering a fantastic opportunity for career development. The successful candidates with be proficient in Python and SQL with experience of insurance risk & claims (non marine) , portfolio management and possess an analytical mind set, with the ability to solve problems and work on their own and as part of a team in varying situations. Any Power BI experience would be a bonus. Unfortunately, my client is unable to provide sponsorship and the candidate needs to be a resident of the UK.
We would prefer for candidates to work on a Hybrid basis in London(extremely flexible), however, as we are more concerned with getting the right individuals for these roles we would be happy to consider remote workers also.
