Java Senior Software Engineer – Knutsford, Cheshire
Role Introduction
Joining the Advanced Field services team, the Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the development of Key new features of our industry-leading Job Manager application. Primarily a JJob Manager application, but with an ambitious roadmap for the Field Services Suite of products, opportunities to be involved in Mobile technologies and our Transition to a Cloud solution also exist. You will be joining an experienced and friendly development team based in Knutsford, however, this role could also be remote.
What You Will Do
- Hands-on design and development of new products and features as part of an Agile team
- Work closely with other developers in building features and system efficiency
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Maintain quality and ensure the performance of applications
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
What You Will Have
- Demonstrable experience working in software development teams
- Broad experience in developing solutions in Java
- Preferably experience in Mobile Applications
- Experience in Database technologies, preferably Oracle
- Team player, flexible and able to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Awareness of agile development environments and processes
