We are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the largest UK construction and civil engineering companies who have been involved with some very excited projects involving a portfolio of road, rail, nuclear, and other major projects worldwide. We are searching for a diligent hybrid data entry specialist to work on site and from home who possess excellent accuracy, attention to detail and administrative capabilities
Responsibilities
- The Data Entry Clerk maintains the customer database by entering new and updated information and preparing source files that they will use in computerised formats.
- The process includes compiling all records into one file or table and sorting it based on criteria.
- A Data Entry Clerk is responsible for transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems.
- Their transfer of data happens manually or using scanners. They type in customers’ information and create spreadsheets, verifying them against source documents at different stages during the process.
Criteria
- Previous administration or data entry experience is ideal
- A Data Entry Clerk needs to have good communication skills, fast typing, and accuracy.
- A high concentration level is necessary.
- You must stay focused on their task while working with limited distractions from other things.
- Working with technology is also essential, and you will need to be comfortable using a computer on a daily basis
