More about your role
As a Management Accountant, you will coordinate and liaise with Development finance colleagues to collate information required to prepare and update reports. You will respond to changes in reporting requirements of the Development function through the design and implementation of new and additional reports This role would ideally suit someone with experience working within a housebuilder/developer in the private sector with knowledge of key indicators for sales and marketing including weekly reservations, sales prices, and marketing costs with the ability to carry out comprehensive variance analysis and support the Head of Finance in the production of annual and ongoing business planning. This is a hybrid role whereby travel between Preston and Edinburgh will be required. Your role will also be partly based at home to achieve a work-life balance. More about you
We are looking for a self-starter to come and join the team! To apply for this role you will ideally be a part qualified Accountant (CCAB), however, we would welcome applications from candidates who are QBE. You will need a strong background in management accounting and reporting and have the ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service (internal & external) You will have strong technical skills and the ability to work autonomously and under pressure and will ideally have experience in operating in a diverse environment with a range of customers and deadlines. In addition, it would highly advantageous if you had experience in sales commissions, sales price reviews, marketing cost reviews and build cost reviews as well as analysis and reporting.
