Indians at UK - Digital Skills

Baby boomers are a term, first used in America, used to describe those born between 1946 and 1964. Now, it is a widely used term for people of that age anywhere in the world.

In a study conducted by Salesforce, 84% of people between the age of 57 and 75 are “very actively learning/training on digital skills.” These skills include digital marketing, encryption and cybersecurity, e-commerce and digital trade, and artificial intelligence.

However, on the internet, is called a boomer could mean a lot of things — mostly derisive — but being tech-savvy is not one of them. To the surprise of Salesforce, a cloud-based software firm, more boomers in India are embracing digital skills than those in developed countries.

The study titled “Digital Skills Index” surveyed 23,000 employed and prospective employees across 19 countries including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea, Singapore, and Italy.
