About the role:

We are looking for an experienced engineer who will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, deploying and performing analysis for the Corporate liquidity products offering developed internally. The application resides in a private cloud and managed public cloud (Azure/AWS) Windows environments. Candidate must be highly motivated, a strong self-starter and an application engineer with innovative, proven problem-solving skills for complex multi-tiered applications. The individual will interface with the Development organization, Project Managers, Professional Services, Network, Security, & Server OS support teams. They must be able to work under stressful circumstances and maintain composure. The candidate will work on an international team supporting some of the world’s largest cooperation.

What you will be doing:

  • Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment.
  • Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems.
  • Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in the application and supporting software components.
  • Follows escalation procedures, when appropriate, to resolve incidents, problems or known errors in a timely manner.
  • Plans and supports application-specific disaster recovery activities including the development and maintenance of documentation.
  • Conducts production support validations/certifications and accepts turnover from development.
  • Monitors and maintains product availability, capacity and performance for products based on defined service levels.
  • Provides support to the application security functionality and related administrative and audit services.
  • Participates in change management reviews, confirmation of changes implemented and validate associated documentation.

What you bring:

  • 2 – 5 years Windows experience and 2+ years Linux and Containers experience
  • 2+ years of SQL Server Database experience running basic queries to view tables and to work with DBAs to deploy
  • Experience within a technical industry
  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner appropriate to an audience including executive levels
  • Requires working knowledge of applications and utilities used by supported products
  • Skill in basic diagnostic techniques and corrective actions to resolve day-to-day problems
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools including escalation practices
  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to utilize judgment in the decision-making process and decisions related to job tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge and experience with Windows security
  • Knowledge and experience with SNOW for ITSM
