Project Manager – Abingdon, Oxfordshire

A large technology organisation based in Oxfordshire, are seeking a highly-skilled Project Manager to join their growing projects department. You will gain the opportunity to work on highly critical Power / Energy based products which serve in military and defence environments. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of major projects, this will involve involvement throughout the project lifecycle, from the bid, and initial concept, to verification and production.

The Main responsibilities of the Project Manager role:

– Project management through the full life-cycle from bid generation through detailed planning, design, analysis, manufacture, assembly and test.
– Responsible for the delivery of multiple projects with individual values between £100k to £2m+
-Preparing inputs for proposals
-Assisting Financial planning, managing and reporting

The following skills/experience will be required for the Project Manager role:

– Previous experience of working as a project manager with products.
-Some experience working in Engineering or Scientific environment
-Previous experience in leading teams, planning and reporting
-Strong communication skills at all levels with an ability to provide solutions
-Ability to work well under pressure to demanding timescales
