Python Software Automation Developer Test – Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Our client is consistently growing and is hiring this test automation developer/software developer in test in order to increase the capacity of the team whilst also adding improvements to the test automation processes and framework.

The role:

• Working with the software, test and product teams in order to identify and create improvements to the tools and frameworks
• Developing in Python
• Scale up of automated test infrastructure in order to significantly increase capacity
• Improving the speed of delivery of tests
• Improving the quality of software
• integrating with test management tools
• Expanding the automation frameworks to cover upcoming product ranges

Core skills required for the role:

• Python Development (preferably Python 3)
• Experience with automation of software, preferably automated testing
• Passionate about software quality and best practices
• Any further experience in testing and automation would be beneficial, such as design for test, design for automation, software test, automation of data analysis etc.
