Established over 10 years ago, our client is an industry leader that develops and manufactures award-winning sensor and signalling products supplied into UK rail, Oil & Gas markets. Focused on becoming more data-centric, this business is investing heavily in improving the core products allowing them to emerge into new exciting markets.

Working within the Algorithms and Data Science team you will undertake multidiscipline research activities to support the company’s core IP development. In a team of 4, you will be key in creating advanced analytics algorithms for sensor monitoring applications, modelling and simulation of electrical/electronic systems, data manipulation and visualisation and electronic signal processing techniques.

The role:

* Hybrid Remote – (2-3 days a week in office)
* Research activities to support the company’s core IP for sensor and signalling technology
* Working within the Algorithms and Data Science team
* Advanced Analytics algorithms for sensor-based condition monitoring applications
* Modelling and simulation of complex electrical and electronics systems
* Mass data Manipulation and visualisation
* Python programming
* Advanced electronics signal processing techniques

The Person:

* Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical or Electronics or Equivalent.
* Interested in Data, algorithm design, electronics and signal processing technology.
