UKIBC SIGN MOU WITH GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL TO FACILITATE UK-WEST BENGAL BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT

To continue our long-standing partnership with the Government of West Bengal, the UK India Business Council today signed an MoU with the Government of West Bengal at the Bengal Global Business Summit in Kolkata.

The MoU, which will see the UKIBC and the Government of West Bengal work together to facilitate greater trade, investment, and collaboration with UK businesses in the state, was signed at the valedictory session at the Bengal Global Business Summit. The MoU was signed by the Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Enterprise, Govt. of West Bengal, and UKIBC Managing Director Kevin McCole.

At the summit, a record UK delegation of UK businesses already established and looking to enter the market were in attendance, exemplifying the ongoing commitment of UK businesses to West Bengal, in a range of sectors.

We are delighted to extend our close partnership and look forward to supporting UK-West Bengal trade, investment, and collaboration.
